Ok guys here is my problem:
55k miles (recent engine removal and refit)
Been in a crash... Errors on dash EPS -SPEEDTRONIC(new fault as of today) - SRS
Car started and drove ok apart from 1 thing, the steering felt a tad stiff and when turning right it would click.
Today when i was driving it, i turned right to pull off at a junction and the engine splurted and it would not drive forward. Just rev as if it were in neutral. At the same time i had speedtronic error on the dash.
Car still starts and drives OK, car goes into Drive, Park, Neutral...ect all ok. It shows on the dash what gear its in OK. If i rev it in DRIVE it will splurt abit then be ok. If i rev it in park or neutral or any other it doesnt splurt. By splurt i mean hesitate to rev as if it were losing power but then it picks up rpm as normal.
To sum up the car will not drive forward or backwards. Its as though its stuck in neutral (but its not).
But in the mean time Any advice or help?
Its very very similar to this http://forums.mercedesclub.org.uk/sh...ght=lost+drive
However i dont know if his 'hesitated' when revving in drive.
