83 300D euro--Blower motor--can't find one that fits!

I have a 1983 M-B 300D euro, and I just ordered a used blower motor from eBay that came out of another 300D. HOWEVER, when I received it, I only then realized that it wasn't the right plastic housing and will not work. The motor also attaches to the housing differently than mine (I couldn't tell from the pictures on eBay). The one that I need is manufactured by SoFico, made in France. It has 3 mounts on the motor that attach to the plastic housing.

Has anyone ever run into this problem? Any suggestions? I looked in the for sale section and couldn't fine one, and now I have to return the one I just bought. I since have found out that M-B had a few different companies that manufactured these for them, and they're not interchangeable.

Try looking in the w123 forum. They may know something about it.

Can't use a North American HVAC system fan on non-North American car, the parts are different in the US system.
