Question Looking for genuine carpet material

I am making a custom sub speaker box for my 90 500SL and I want to buy the proper carpet material. Does anyone know where I can find this material? I have exhausted all my local suppliers, they either have no clue what it is or want to sell me a much cheaper looking carpet material. I found 1 guy who knew what it was but he said he couldn't get it and also said it was very expensive. I will need about 1-2 yards of material.

Thanks
Wylde

Try GAAH in California, World Upholstery. Bill Hirsh in New Jerey, Yo hve to remember your carpet might be faded over the years!

Thanks Peter...actually I am dealing with World Upholstery via email right now. They very likely have what I want. As for fading...surprisingly, it looks like it has not faded much at all if you look at the difference with areas that never seen sun. This car was always garage kept and babied and it shows. Of course I will continue that and have since acquiring it in Oct 2008.
