I used to love my mercedes c280 before she got sick
I have a 97 c280 sport and had a leak at the pilot bushing. I replaced the pilot bushing as well as the fluids from the pan and torque convertor. Also replaced the filter and gasket. I used the MB transmission fluid at $14 a pop. During the job I unplugged the 13 pin connector before emptying the torque convertor. I didn't have a 27mm socket so I was trying to get lucky and have the torque conv. drain plug come to the opening (which didnt work). The next day I got the socket and removed the plug and completed the job. When I went to start it I noticed the engine check light came on. Got my odbcII scanner and wrote down the faults then erased them. The car only works in second or reverse. When shifting it jolts quite hard. I di take a voltage meter down to the pilot bushing plug and some pins had 12 volt or greater. Does this need to be taken to the dealer. I read on other forums that it just may need a reset.
it reads codes p0753, p0743, p0763, p0758 the 743,753 and 763 are solonoids. the 758 is torque converter electrical.
