some shoddy companies are moving MB vehicles lately. Makes me double stare at the condition of their trucks. Although they are driving carefully, if nothing else
Yeah, I heard the same thing. But it has to make you think about that garbage in, garbage out saying. Really, it doesn't mesh very well with that "THE BEST OR NOTHING" thing, huh? I mean, really. Why yell "WE ACCEPT NOTHING BUT THE BEST" and then suck up to the least common denominator for getting their product to the buyer?
The chain is no stronger than it's weakest link. Am I wrong to think that MBUSA has chosen to select the weakest link over quality---over service---over it's customer base---over it's integrity---over its dealers---over its supporters---over the Mercedes reputation---and over the goals set forth by it's parent company who now demands "THE BEST OR NOTHING!?"
If true, would Daimler/Mercedes be better off with nothing compared with the less than best MBUSA? Perhaps it's time that Mercedes take the opportunity to replace the "less than best" with those who may be able to serve the dealerships and the drivers with the respect, consideration and dedication they (were) known for?
With that said, I truly hope to be proven wrong about MBUSA. I hope that they come through for me and man up on this. I hope to be able to write an apology to MBUSA if I have expressed any feelings that are wrongly conceived. If I'm right, then they (or really their management) are a weak link that I think Mercedes should replace if they are truly serious about being "THE BEST OR NOTHING!"
In the meantime, it's obvious to me that Mercedes, or at least MBUSA, is intent on following anything but the "best or nothing." Why else would they select such an incompetent shipping company!!! Great slogan, but lies as I see it---at least as I see MBUSA. Then again, prove me wrong. I would love to be proven wrong on this one!
Oh, and for anyone with MBUSA reading this, I didn't buy a stripped down Hyundai hatchback. But I have no doubt that if I did, I'd get better service from it's US representative than I have form Mercedes' US group! Again, please prove me wrong!
