BAD IDLE AND DRIVABILITY

1990 300ce 24v. 3.0 6 First let me start off saying this car has 220.058 miles on it and it has bee sitting up sense 2007. i'm trying to get it back and road worthy, however it would not start and stay running, so i have changed the two fuel pumps and filter, fuel regulator, distributer plus the module, and six new spark plugs drained the fuel tank of the old smelly 4 year old gas, and adjusted the distributor air/fuel mixture. The car starts and stays running but with a rough idle and miss. when test driving the car drives strong with OK for about 15 minutes the performance starts to go down drastically the more i give it gas the less it wants to perform. if i attempt to get off the gas slightly it picks up if i give it gas it slows down until it is barely moving at all and then it stops. i turn off the key start it back um and it's bak strong again for a few more minutes. HELP PLEASE I'M SPENDING A GRIP OF MONEY IN THIS PIT.

If there's light (CEL - Check Engine Light) then get an OBDI reader to read the engine trouble code.
If there's no CELight, you will throw more money away in trying to blindly fix the car. Get rid of it.
