changing differential oil on my 1981 300D

Had the front lower control arms, idler kit and a rear flex disc recently replaced at my Mercedes mechanic. And, oh yeah, front brake pads too. So now next thing is to get the alignment done.

My daughters boyfriend works for BMW is going to put my little Benz up on his rack over the weekend to: rotate my tires, change the differential oil, brake fluid, and align the wheels.

Should we use any particular weight on that differential oil: 75w90, 85w90? I'm in Los Angeles, CA if that makes any difference. And should brake fluid be Dot 4?

I believe it is 85w-90. You are better off checking the w123 forum though.
