P0410 error Code

Hi all,

I have 3 jobs to fix on the missus SLK (she has registered in her name just incase anyone thinks I'm called Laura ), however I'm the one with the tools!

First of all I would like to say a big thank you to Bazzle and his step by step guide on fixing the Central locking pump. PES I believe it is called. At first I was very cautious is taking the unit apart and cleaning a MCB Board but, touch wood, all is working so far!!! and that is one ticked off the list.

Second was restating the service interval clock. -500 is on the LCD. Again many thanks to the guys on Benzworld as this is now reset to 10K.

Now finally.....the dreaded EML light is on and has been on a while. We have had this scanned and have received a P0410 code. I have been informed that this is an Air Valve problem. Am I correct is assuming that this is near the Maf? would anybody have a step by step guide in looking into this

Thanks in advance all
