I just bought a 1987 300D that seems to be in pretty good shape. Has a few minor issues like the passenger seat won't move backwards, and the odometer doesn't work. It has an indicated ~92k miles but who knows how long it has been broken. By the looks of the brake peddle pad and drivers seat I don't think it is too far off.

The car is super nice and comfortable, I own and have owned several diesel trucks so I am pretty familiar with diesels in general. I have done some reading/research on the issues and as soon as I get some other projects out of the way I will dig into them and run the rack. And it looks like I definitely want to inspect the drive-shaft rubber connectors.

Haven't had it in any real cold weather but it starts great at 30degF.

Thanks, Aaron
