Help- Bucket List-Help

I have always wanted a Mercedes.
I want to get a Mercedes before I kick the Bucket.
I can't afford a new car, so a used one for $10-12,000 would work.
Which year and model won't cause me to kick the bucket too early?

I live in Maryland

Welcome to Benzworld!! Your question is one that may not be possible to answer, but a good start would be to ask it in the General Mercedes Benz forum rather than the intro section. Sounds like this is a time-sensitive issue, what with the bucket list & all, so I'd choose a car that would look good enough for my heirs to drive it to my funeral without embarassment.

The only model of Mercedes that is guaranteed not to drive you to strong drink or to an early grave is one of the 1/18th scale models that will sit on a shelf in the garage. For overall reliability, I'd look for a Benz in your price range that has detailed service records. That's the best indicator of how the vehicle was cared for.

Good luck!!!
