Despite (or because) I'm a bike addict with (very) limited interest in vehicules with more than 2 wheels, I just bought a car, a mint 1993 SEC 600 dark grey with light grey interior.
1st, because it's a V12 and I love V engines (like the 1198 Ducati SBK of my racing team). 2nd, because it can easily cruise at 250km/h (like my road bikes). 3rd, because it will be soon a collector (like my 1979 Fiat bertone X1/9, my 1963 cortina lotus and my 1953 Peugeot 203). 4th, because it's big and politicaly incorrect, even in smogy Hong Kong.
And 5th, probably because I'm getting old and my wife gave-up to be my passenger on the little monsters I ride everyday (Suzuki bandit streetfighter, Honda cbr1000f or Honda X11).
I also own racing bikes (Suzuki 1000 K8, Suzuki 1000 K9 to race SBK championships in China and Thailand respectively, and still get the Triumph 675 Daytona who won Macau Grand Prix 2009 for my team).
Talking about 'green', I'm addict of Downhill bikes (because there's no snow in Hong Kong?) and I enjoy every week-end to ride my Giant Glory, Da Bomb Mind Bomb or Turner DHR.
I'll be pleased to meet any forum members, based in or passing-by Hong Kong for a drink and chat, especially petrol-heads, speed junkies, bike or racing enthusiasts.
I'm leaving in Robinson Road, Mid-levels Central - Hong Kong, and my mobile is +852 9156 2716.
I hope I well describe and introduce myself. Welcome anytime for a cruise in the SEC in amazing Hong Kong, or if you prefer 2 wheels, there's a bigger choices.
