89 300E no start

Hello all i have a 89 300E starting very hard it can take a hour to get her running . I bought the car two years ago not running call my crazy but not knowing any thing about Mercedes i still bought it . after tinkering with the adjustment for the fuel injection pump it got it running and was good til it got cold now she is acting like a teen ager very hard to get started. How do you tell a car if it doesn't shape up . It will be grounded one more detail ever when i had gotten it running and smooth it still had some hesitation

Are you getting enough fuel? Spark?

Try changing the fuel filters and see if that helps

I just got back from changing the cold start valve it was the problem . her 300E still needs a master cyclnder and is leaking transmittion fluid but it is running great .
I offered to trade her a 2000 Hynudia Elantra . As she cant afford the repairs
I she does i will have a 89 300E and a 89 190E both with no rust looking a running well
