Glad to be here to share information.

Just bought a 1995 SL320 with just 70k miles and starting to learn about all the MB quirky way of doing things.

Try to do most of my own work - but it could be a challenge with the MB. Just changed oil (topside) and filter, air filter and front brake discs and pads (with Akebono euro ceramic).

I also have a BMW M Roadster which is a breeze to work on and Audi A6 TT which is a royal pain.....

Welcome! You're going to like the ceramic pads - no dust! Working on the SL will get easier as you get into it. You can get plenty of feedback in the SL forums.
