Are you sure? We had an E46 coupe in the family for a few years and I will revise my first reply to say that I'd get the BMW over the W202 knowing that is an option. The Bimmer is a safer car in terms of control and body roll, etc. I always felt safe in it when there were sudden panic stops or avoidance maneuvers but the W202 is a bit top heavy and flops a bit in a pinch.

Yup, because I'm sure that could be arranged, too.

This E46 came sort of out of nowhere when I asked her opinions on some cars I was looking at. So far she has had to be happy with what ever car I have arranged for her, but she has definitely deserved to get something more permanent for her to use through the rest of high-school. And even going on to college.

I think I'll still make a slight push towards the W202, but if it doesn't work, I guess E46 it is.

At least I'll still have my W126.

Look into a 2005 W203. A C240 Base model can be had for pretty cheap now a days. A 2005 C230K would be nice or for more power the C320.
