Trust me on this one
Stopped at FlyingJ in Rippon today. They have whole bunch for washer fluids including 0F. Again, 0 is ONLY zero.
80 proof vodka will not freeze, it'll burn. Have you tried light spirits? Some Chinese stores in SF Chinatown carries spirits as high as 130 proof = 65% alcohol!

It's strange Flying J in Ripon carries 0F washer fluid. I went to NAPA this afternoong, was told California prohibits the sale of Low-Temp washer fluid except in some cold mountainous region, as soon as I crossed into NV, there'll be plenty, so told.

After Google search, I found this article...

(partial quote)SACRAMENTO, California, January 10, 2008 (ENS) - In its largest consumer product settlement ever, the California Air Resources Board has fined Ace Hardware $850,000 for selling windshield washer fluid in stores throughout the state that failed to meet California air emissions requirements.

ARB cited the hardware chain for selling windshield fluid that was specially formulated with higher pollutants to prevent from freezing in the state's colder, mountainous areas.

Windshield wiper fluid is the only consumer product in California that has two permissible limits for volatile organic compounds. All other consumer products have only one limit they must meet to be sold throughout the state.

In colder areas of the state, California
allows higher amounts of VOCs in washer fluid.

The ARB's Consumer Products Regulation specifies different VOC limits for automotive windshield wiper fluid in California, depending on the climate of the region.

The limit is 35 percent VOC by weight for mountainous areas that are subject to low freezing temperatures, and one percent VOC for everywhere else in the state. The higher limit is permitted in the coldest areas of the state because more VOCs are needed to keep the fluid from freezing.

Apparently, I live in warmer region of CA. But Ripon is NOT cold region either...

Sorry the first link seems broken. (Edit - I think I fixed the link)
Here is a recipe, though I think I might try methanol instead of isopropyl:

3 cups Isopropyl alcohol
1 tablespoon Liquid detergent or SOFT SOAP
10 cups Water

1. Pour alcohol and detergent into a clean gallon size plastic jug. Add water, cover, and shake well. Label. Cap tightly. Keep out of the reach of children.

2. To Use: Shake well. Pour into your car's windshield-washer compartment.

3. Variation from More Make Your Own Groceries: 3 c rubbing alcohol 4 c water Several drops blue food coloring 2 teaspoon liquid dishwashing detergent.

You should find the cost of a gallon of washer fluid to be quite reasonable, under $3. Vodka may work but might work better if ingested properly, and is way to costly to use in the washer system. Try to avoid getting the two fluids mixed up. I would think WW fluid would make a terrible Bloody Mary.

Yes try to add some anti freeze liquid in radiator & turn off your vehicle on liquid fuel (petrol) not CNG (gas) If you have multiple fuel systems. freezing of CNG fuel will cause starting problem & need more battery power to start.
