Hello from a "Newbie" in the PNW

Howdy ya'll, I'm new to the forum but we've had our 99 ML320 for about 5 years now. Originally we got it as the Honda I was using when I was a Realtor apparently wasn't good for my back & legs as I could hardly walk after spending some time in the car running around. So I was looking for something which sat more like a truck with the higher seat bottom and yet I wanted more than just some ol' truck. I started looking at Explorers, Cherokees, blazers, etc. Then one day while dreaming about the BMW suv, I came across this ML320. I'd never really thought about owning a Mercedes, except for the big top of the line model, and that was always a 'wish list' item. But the more I looked into the ML320, the more I felt it gave me what I needed and still could function as an all around family car too. So as it turns out I stumbled into Mercedes ownership quite by accident and I've never looked back. We love this auto. We currently have 174K on it and it seems to still be going strong. It rides real well and we can always pickup just about whatever we want to and bring it home as it has plenty of room with the rear seats folded down. I'm not in realestate anymore, but we haven't seen any reason to replace the ML - unless you consider the small thought in the corner of my mind with regard to the BMW Z4, which is of course a totally different kind of animal anyways. And how practical would that be?

So here I am now in the Forum for Mercedes, it's a little scarry cause I know how adicted I was when I was in the Jaguar Forum world (& I still have two Jags!). So I look forward to reading some of the posts and more than likely adding my two cents as I gain some Merc experience, or of course asking for some help on the ML.

Have a great week! And we'll "talk" later!
