Post Mercedes Benz W202 fails to start in the morning. HEEELLLLLLPPPP!!!!

Friends, I need help.

My car W202, Model 1999 fails to start in the mornings. It fires up, but immediately goes off. It also feels very weak. When it starts, the car shakes alot and I can hear a hitting sound in the engine. I have done a diagnostic check and replaced the Air Flow Meter, Coolant Temperature Sensor and Spark plugs with no change.

Any advise is highly appreciated.

I thought MAF and plugs but since you addressed those I am not sure. Did you use a Bosch MAF sourced from an authorized source? It is widely known that some of the off brand MAFs simply don't work properly right out of the box which confuses the issue significantly. Also, there are known counterfeit Bosch marked MAFs that are sold on eBay, usually from sellers in China, Hong Kong, etc. What happens if you disconnect the MAF altogether and run the car, if it runs smoothly with the MAF disconnected then you probably need another (OEM) one.
