Older model Mercedes

Interest in the W126, W140, W124, and the W201.
Especially W201s equipped with the OM601 and the 4G-Tronic, W124/S124s equipped with the OM603 and the M110, M111, M112, and M113 and the 4G-Tronic, W126s equipped with the OM602, OM603, M110, M111, and M112; and the 4G-Tronic, W140s equipped with the OM603 and the M113 with the 4G-Tronic, and also; R129s equipped with the M113.
Mercedes should continue to over engineer their vehicles to this day. Daimler made just as bad of a decision as Volkswagen/Audi with regards to both companies adopting strategies not to over engineer their vehicles beginning in the late '90's, and their quality beginning to go way down hill at this time. Especially with the quality and reliability of the W201, W220, Volkswagen/Audi A4 platform vehicles, and Volkswagen/Audi B5 platform vehicles being far worse than their predecessors.
