Recently bought my fist mercedes/diesel/Europe car and I have to say I'm very excited. Its a 1984 300TD with 230k miles, which is nothing for these motors from what I've read, and nearly everything works. It was parked since 2005, when I started highschool, and with a fresh battery and a shot of wd40 fired right up with no hesitation, drove it thirty miles home. It was parked due to the brakes "not working" according to the man I bought it from but the way they feel it would seem they weren't bled properly. Besides the brakes two windows don't move but other than that everything functional. A new set of tires and a brake job and this will be my new daily driver.

I've been working with experienced mechanics for several years now and I'm very well versed in gasoline engines but a diesel is something new for me, so I'm looking forward to advice and will be hunting down the correct section to ask some preliminary questions in. Hope i can inform as well as receive help.

heres the cars pictures Pictures by enix187 - Photobucket, ignore the GT Turbo mustang, those are my main hobby and I've got my hair cut now

forgot to add, paid 325 for the car
