99 ML320 Questions

Hi, this is a great forum! So happy I found it

I have a couple of questions. I'd like to start servicing my 1999 ML320 myself rather than getting charged $1k every time I need a service.

Are there any instructions online as to how to do a simple service myself? And how do I go about resetting the service light that pops up?

Also my air conditioning unit has stopped working, I checked the belts and all seems to be ok. What else should I check?

Thanks a lot for all your help.

Cheers

Mick

Itemize what they did for $1K then someone may see a way to save you money.

Hello mick, Welcome to the forum. I am sure you can find all the help you will need here.
You really need to post any questions you may have in the W163 section as that is the proper place for information for the 99 ML 320. You may also want to complete your profile to show your vehicle and location which makes it easier for others to assist you.

On practical side -we gave our 98 ML320 to the oldest son 5 years ago and he services nothing.
I hope he changes oil occasionally and I know as a fact he changed the tires when the wires slapping the fenders become too loudly, but to my knowledge he still drives with factory coolant and factory brake fluid.
The most perfect car I heard about.
Less than $200 in repairs (parts) in 12 years. Not counting the battery and tires
