Getting ready to buy a Benz...

I am located in Portland, OR and I am in the market for a 2006 CLK 350 and I have been shopping around quite a bit and have looked at a number of cars. I have been told the benz can have more issues then some, so I am trying to figure out what I should watch out for or any common issues you guys would recommend keeping an eye open for. I appreciate the help and will post pix as soon as I get my benz hopefully in the coming week.

All the luxury brands have had electronic issues. From what I heard BMW and Audi have had the most issues. It's also a lot better to not buy any Mercedes model in it's first year of introduction, after the second year they fix most of the bugs they find. With models after 2007 it seems like that is not the case and everything works! My opinion is if you like it buy it!

Hi Keith, good to see a fellow Portlander here.
I don't have any info for you but there is a sub forum here that deals specifically with the car you're considering. The members there should be able to give you more accurate advice. Here's that forum: W209 CLK Class - - Mercedes-Benz Discussion Forum
