Hi Forum, i've a MB E190 year 1987. I just repaired the air conditioner, but i brought a problem when it was installed.
When i put on start the air conditioner, the idle speed of the car drops near 800 - 900 rpm. Analyzing the problem, i think it is the electric fan that also starts with the air conditioner that "helps" the idle speed to going so down.
I remove all the pieces and the air filter in order to adjust the idle speed, but, when i put it just on 1000 rpm with the AC starting, when i shut it off (the AC) the rpm goes up to 1500 rpm and not to 1200-1300 that is the "ideal" idle speed.
I would like to know if there is any valve or do i have to do something else in order to push up the rpm to 1200-1300 when the AC is running. I think i'm missing something else that pulls the accelerator cable
Thanks in advance, Reynaldo
