Hello,
I have a 2002 CLK 320 Convertible I bought back in '04. I should have sold the car before it depreciated so much but I love the car. Haven't found a suitable replacement so its mine for a long time to come. It just wasn't getting much use.
This summer I bought a new BMW motorcycle and the Benz spent its first season outside. This was so the bikes could have the parking space and not have to ride them across the grass from the barn to the driveway. It turned out to be a good thing. I found that I rode the bikes more often since they were more accessible and I no longer treated the Benz as a museum piece and started driving it more often.
Its now winter and the BMW and Vespa are back in the barn resting till spring with the dirt bikes. The Benz has its old parking space in the garage. There are worse things to have than a flawless firemist red convertible in the garage. In the spring I'll do the swap out with the bikes again so they all get used.
I joined Benzworld to learn tech tips and share knowledge. Its paid off already. Glad to be here.
Jim
