W202: Unstable on ice (Strange)

When I am passing over ice spots on the road the car moves a little sideways (very scarry) but it doesn't spin around.

* Doesn't appear on snow covered roads
* Speed aprox. 60-80 km/t
* Even when running in neutral gear and no braking
* New winter tyres
* Mileage 250.000 km
* All brakes are new
* Air pressure ok in all tyres
* All wheels moving freely

Hope someone can help me. Thanks in advance

Have you considered maybe going over ice spots at a lower speed, say 30-40 km/h or even less?

The same thing can happen even of loose "washboard" gravel roads and is simply a part of driving. If you feel unsafe then do not drive in these conditions. If you think it;s specific to this car, I would be curious if your tires are summer tires or maybe a bit worn? Buy winter tires and even then, drive slowly over ice, braking or letting off the gas if needed BEFORE you get to it, not once you're on top of it.
