Hello, this is my first time on the forum, but I have used this site quite alot, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.
But now I am quite stumped:
I drive a 1999 W202 C240 SPORT Auto. (722.6 tranny)
I have a whine on overrun in 1st and 2nd gear, also a slack some where in the drive train in these gears, provoked by light throttle or letting it cost to a stop on down shift.
Things done so far:
New Engine and Tranny mounts
New Prop Shaft
New Central Bearing
New Flex Disc\Prop Couplings (front and back)
New Diff Oil
Drained 5L of ATF new FIlter and MB ATF Fluid to correct level
New Electrical plug on the tranny (known issue), no oil in the ECU but is on the loom)
any help would be greatly apprecieated, I have no codes stored, scanned numerous times, I was thinking could it be a loose flange nut on the gearbox output shaft that could cause the slack and the whine ?
