Hello,

I've searched and found that there have been many posts on the "leaky" mirror problem in the SLK. I purchased my car about a month ago (1999 SLK230). I found the info regarding Sybesma and contacted them about the replacement. I just removed the mirror from the car and discovered that the PO cut the wires. I'm looking for where this plugs in so that I can locate the rest of the wire and determine the type of plug in. Can anyone tell me (or better yet, show me a picture) of where this wire plugged in?

So far, this seems to be a good car, but some people should not be their own mechanic.
