Post S600 1998 Acceleration Problem

My 1998 S600 has been not Accelerating Right,. it slowly get up to speed but no Real Response,...it has only 93,000 miles any Ideas or common things to Look at Firat before Spending Big $$$ ? thank you, Joseph N.

obviously could be a ton of things but they did have some problems with the intake gaskets leaking. kind of a big job but you can maybe start there and look for some vacuum leaks. best way would be to use a smoke machine and smoke it through one of the connections where the vacuum lines attach to

Acceleration problem

I would suggest that you have the dealer diagnose the problem, then decide how to make the repairs. At least you would have the option of going to an Independent and most likely save some bucks. I had a similar problem with my S600 but I knew there was a potential vacuum leak in the "system", so I started there. Still ended up going to the dealer to complete the fix.

good deal... i think you are Right Spend The $$ for a Good Answer !... or don't Own/buy a High Performance Car!...Greatness is Not Cheap !....
