Bought my 1991 sl 500 toy

I really wanted a 1998-2001 SL 500 (with Bose, etc) but after loosing bids for 6 months to other buyers - I bit the bullet and settled for a 1991 that was in super clean condition.

So now I have my toy for weekends and topless driving.

Anything I should check on this 19 year old car? Hoses? Rubber gaskets?

Drives fine and will have pictures soon

Thanks Jackson. Had it thoroughly checked by German auto mechanic here in Charlotte ($45.00).
He found only one issue that needs immediate attention: Engine Motor mounts - which are hydraulic.

My next business check I will tend to this - $600.00 is much less than what I was bracing for! He said it was in very good condition otherwise and I can drive it distances.

I did notice just today - - ABS light goes went on twice while driving -then disappeared.
I know the ABS also controls anti-slip/traction (primitive form) in that car.

I'll keep an eye on that - but that's it.

Confident enough to be dangerous
