CPO Warranty and MB-Tex issue

I have a crack in my left bottom bolster of my drivers seat.
It is definitely not a tear, but a crack in the vinyl layer exposing the fabric.
The car is a CPO '07 E350 with 42,000 miles.
We purchased the 2 year extended MB warranty and so far have needed no work.
This is our first MB so I don't have any history or experience with the dealer other than the purchase.
What is the chance of getting MB to fix this under warranty, or some form of Goodwill?

It's not still in the original factory warranty? Two thoughts - 1) sounds to me like a defect in materials and workmanship, and 2) they don't make MB tex like they used to. That sort of a crack could show up in the old MB tex somewhere in the 30 to 40 year old range.

elw covered usually does not cover plastic trim item or leather on the seats. now if your car is still in the factory 4/50 warranty it will be covered, if not then no.

Yes, it is still under the original warranty. (and CPO warranty) (and extended Warranty)

Dealer is ordering a new seat bottom cover under warranty.
