Relay switch

Anyone know if and where the relay switch for the trunk is on the sl500 (2003). The trunk will not open unless the manual key is in the lock and turned, which leads me to believe that there is an electrical gap. But i could be wrong.

TIA

You have a possible vacuum pressure/supply problem for the lock. If the door locks work its not the pump. Probably a broken plastic actuator in the trunk lid. Listen for vacuum leaks at the trunk lid just behind the lisence plate. (may or may not be heard). Good luck.
