Merc C220 cdi fault code p1630
I hope someone can help me.
I have a 2002 merc c220cdi. Someone came to view it and as they turned it off they waggled the gearlever and then turned the key off and removed it.
Now this is an automatic so there is no reason to waggle the gearstick before turning the car off.
Since then the car will not start.
I read the fault codes and this is what was listed :
P1481 Glow plug 1
P1481 Glow plug 2
P1481 Glow plug 3
P1481 Glow plug 4 All failures
P1630 Drive auth control unit does not answer
P0600 Can fault Databus is faulty
P0600 Can fault transmitter is faulty
P1403 EGR rate is too low
P1470 Charge pressure is too low
I then cleared all the codes and then tried to restart the car and the only code to come back up was
P1481 Glow plug 2 failure.
Can anybody shed some light on this problem at all as the car makes a great garden ornament at the moment.
