I have an almost faultless 1990 R129. bar a few questions: On the datacard it has 2 colour numbers, both saying 735...Clearly the car is silver on the top, but the lower parts are darker and more satin, does anyone have the RAL colour code for the bumbers etc? I need to make a few touch-up's

Secondly, the softtop will not close completely automatic..When it closes it doesn't lock properly at the front windscreen, and the closing cycle stops. I can help it by tightening the 2 Alan key adjusters in the windscreen bar with the special handkey from the toolset in the boot, but it should really work better. (It used to last year)..I have tried looking at the seals, rubbing them with some silicone etc. but they look fine. Also when the softtop retracts, sometimes one of the small arms does not fold properly back, and I have to slightly push it back by hand to enable the top to fold down properly. I have tried adjusting the elastic bands and loosing the screws slightly to help it, but no luck so far...
Besides I am very happy with the car now, I just had the engine replaced following a timing chain issue...A second hand replacement engine was shipped from UKI (Donnington) to Denmark in 3 days and local garage did the swithcover (took them a lot longer than they had estimated for the repair -it's a complex task) and now it runs like a new car - at a price below 2000 pounds...Is it required to inform the DVLA that I have a new engine fitted?
It will need a new exhaust at some point in time, any recommendations for Stainless steel exhausts? Does this car have a catalyst? In the datasheet from above it indicates catalyst deletion...
Hope someone can help point me to some of the answers, I have tried looking for threads to point me to the soft-top problem solving, but found none so far to fit the problem...
