C230 Rearview Mirror Dropped

The rearview mirror in my wife's car was loose and has now dropped and is hanging by the wiring for the various mirror electronics. It looks like there are three sheet metal screws that have worked themselves entirely loose and there is some type of spring/bracket assembly along with mirror casing that are all together.

Since the screws held the bracket to the car how do i get off of the mirror now that it is no longer attached to the car? Make sense, somebody help, thanks in advance.

On that note; how do you replace a rear view mirror? Because mine fell off and broke into several pieces recently.

There appears to be three main components:

The car body, where the mirror bracket is attached.
The mirror bracket, where the mirror body is attached.
The mirror body, this is the part that includes the mirror and any wiring for the buttons or sensors on the mirror.

The mirror was loose on my wife's car and when fiddling with it it came entirely loose. The mirror is attached to the car body with a bracket. The bracket attaches to the car with three sheet metal screws. In my case all three screws had worked themselves loose and one fell out all together.
