As far as I know, the A/C system in the sedan and wagon are exactly the same BTU. So, yes, the wagon is a bit underpowered and there are no 3rd row seat vents. The other problem could be that the system has a leak and the R-134a is low. If that is the case, then have the dealer pay for the entire repair (NOT just a 'recharge', which will solve nothing!) before you pay a cent for the car. The repair could be something simple and cost $25 or it could be the evap and cost $3000. Don't buy the car without checking the R-134a levels, the vent temp, and for any signs of prior leaks. Don't buy the car without a FULL complete pre-purchase inspection by a Mercedes mechanic AND a body shop.
