S 300 L with RSE 2010 (facelifted)

Hi All,

I have been googling around to find the answer, but have not succeeded yet. Decided to join this forum hoping that my search would end here

My question is for the 2010 S 300 L w/ RSE, do we get the interior ambient lighting as a standard feature? If not, is it possible to add? Even in the new E class they do have this, so it will only make sense if they also have it in the entry level of S class.

I am living in Indonesia, and I understand this model is probably not available further up north (NA/Europe), but it is certainly available in Indonesia, Singapore, M'sia or other Asian countries.

Would anyone care enough to let me know?

Thanks very much in advance

The lights you are talking about are not standard on a W221, at least were not standard for all models for the pre-facelift car, I have not checked if it would be standard for the facelift model. This would anyway be market dependent and you would have to check for your area.

The equivalent lights on a W212 are not standard I think, I believe they are standard for Elegance and Avantgarde models.

Retrofitting should not be too difficult in the sense that it isn't a lot of wiring and can be activated through version coding. But I cannot remember if the wood panels are available separately or if the full door panel would need to be replaced. You can always check this from EPC.

Thank you for your answer - I appreciate it very much. I guess that would be the best way then, to check on the local area dealers.

Anyways, what is EPC? Thanks again.
