Catilitic Converter - Need help

I need to replace my catilitic converter on my CLK 500 2003 Mercedes. Money is an issue so I'm looking for the most reasonable place to purchase the parts. I have someone to install them once I have them but any pointers or suggestions about installation would be appriciated along with where to purchase them.Any and as much info would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
LKT

Did you use regular low octane fuel in your car for many years? A cat on an 03 should not have failed already.

So since it has gone bad earlier than it should have do you think this is a warranty issue and I should go back to the dealer?

On my car there was an 8 year/80,000 mile warranty on the cats. Call a dealer to see if you have something similar in place.

Depends on where you are located. You need to fill out your profile and then check in your owners manual. The cat may just be under warranty, which could be expiring very shortly.
