We can make this fun....I am contemplating putting personalized tags (plates) on my s600 coupe. But cant think of anything to my liking. So that made me curious what do your guys' say? Especially you guys that have cylinders by the dozen

Right they can be cheesy and some people might think mine are too so here goes: I have a Plymouth Acclaim (ACCLAIM) and a Toyota Camry (NIPPON). Believe it or not, JAPAN was available. The MB is SILBER, German spelling of silver. Last MB was smoke silver so I used RAUCH. Our state only allows 7 characters.
imo personalized plates are just a bit over the top on MB's due in part to some small minded jealous instincts from some people. There are some good & clever choices but in general they can certainly attract unwanted attention
Why not just get a magnetic door sign that says "look at me, I'm driving a Mercedes?"
I haven't seen many car-related plates I thought were clever. There are quite a few profession-related ones I think are so, but that wasn't the question.
I have a Caymans number plate on the front of my R129, but I don't think that counts as a personalized plate.
One of them has "WAYBOMB", go figure.
another has "AHOYM8E"
