HELP ABS BAS/ASR & Check Engine Lights & oil Leak

I have a 1999 Clk 320 Cabrio and i have had it since 2003. Yesterday i went to start the car and it started and drove but three lights came on. The ABS, the BAS/ASR and the Check engine light.

I dropped it off at my trustworthy mechanic and he ran the codes and got a code 500 and a code 1682 (he thinks that was the number)

Do you guys have any help. Last time the car died on me on the road, i was able to diagnose the problem through the forums and let him know that a previous sensor was the cause and it cost under 100 bucks.

ANy suggestions.

I also have had a slow oil leak in the last 6 months. The car gets regular oil changes (march 2010) and last week we had the low oil light come on. I popped in a few quarts and then got a message that oil above the recomended limit.

My mechanic says that it looks like a high oil leak on the engine. ANy suggestions on this as well?

Could this all be related to the warnning lights coming on?

Feel free to email me as well at JPogara@comcast.net.

Thanks,
