Hi all, W210 E240 v6. Heater stuck on full hot, not very nice in summer. Any ideas on where I start to sort it out?

The duo-valve is located in the engine compartment on the right fender well back toward the firewall. It has 1 hose coming into it from the aux water pump and 2 hoses going out and into the firewall to the heater core. The valve uses electromagnets inside and are prone to sticking in the full open position. Give the silver metal servos on top of the valve a tap with a rubber mallet to see if it frees them up. If they are completely stuck replacement will be neccessary. Part# 004-830-20-84 $216.00 (U.S.)

Happy Wrenching!
