slk interior color change

I am interested in buying a used mercedes slk, looking at an AMG 55 , really trying to find one with a red interior however not having much success. The one I am looking at currently is a 2006, but open to 2006-2008 models. Would it be possible to buy red leather seat covers from mercedes and the door panels? If possible what is a price range for this to be done? Or are there any other alternative options? This makes a difference in whether I purchase this car or not and I posted this question in the slk forum with no response yet ( awaiting response for several days now) Hoping someone here can help.

Thanks a lot!

Replacement seat covers and panels are available from Adsit and others as well as directly from MB. Custom shops would be an option also. However, the cost will roll up quickly.

Including your location in your profile would be useful for others that might offer more helpful suggestions.

It's pretty common for the paint to chip off on the interior hard plastic surfaces. Many folks have had to repaint theirs and in so doing you can make it any color you want. You can also dye the leather/vinyl any color you want using something like Leatherique. That would be a whole lot cheaper than buying new seat covers and interior panels. Even cheaper would be learning to like the color you've got.

Live with a different color or keep on searching until you find the right one. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever to blow $2000+ on an interior leather re-wrap on a used car. It will only de-value the car and you won't see a cent of the money back upon resale. When someone runs the VIN and finds that the interior is a different color they will get very suspicious of a severe wreck, fire or water damage.
