Post Ms. oc

I am an owner of 2 1994 E320's, I try to do some of my simple repairs. I love my cars but problems with this car began after it sat up for a while, I had the fuel pump and mass airflow meter replaced. I tried to start the car and it began to smoke under the hood, opening the hood the airflow sensor wire was on fire. It was quickly extinguished. I replaced the wiring harness. The car starts great but there is a problem with the RPM and black smoke from the exhaust. Codes are 9-16-10. Car could not hold RPM to take the emission test in GA. Tech said there was a throttle problem.
Air sensor replaced removed the 9 code. I have ordered OVP, and throttle actuator. I have the same Mass air flow meter that was on the car the day of the fire.
