I would like to formally introduce myself as Jeff. Been lurking around here for a few months, so it is time to let everyone know who i am. I am currently living in Palm Beach County, Florida. During the day, I manage a food service operation. Nights and Weekends, I enjoy building a Monavie distributorship. I have always bought American cars, Pontiac and mostly Fords in the past. I have been a member of the tauruscarclub.com for over 10 years now, so I understand how helpful forums like this can be for everyone. I have been doing pretty good lately with my distributorship, so I went ahead and upgraded to a much better quality vehicle. This is my first Mercedes, so it took a few months to get used to. In the end of March I purchased a 2010 C300 Sport, Steel Gray. Pretty much a stripped down car with only the ipod interface cable and rear spoiler options. I went for the black interior, and finally found one with the aluminum interior trim.
I always add subwoofers to my cars, but I think I may leave this one alone, as I enjoy having a full trunk now. Now that the stock speakers have broken in, it really isn't too bad of a sound.
I do plan on tinting the windows with huper optik ceramic, but not sure which type yet. Having my last 5 vehicles tinted by the same person, it is hard for me to trust someone to do as good of a job. This guy is about a 4 hour drive and he always requires me to come back 3 days later to touch up the tint.
Lately, I have been driving my old car, 2003 Ford Taurus, more than the C300 as it has been so hot lately here. I have 20% around and 5% on the back glass, plus remote start. It is down to 80 degrees after remote starting it for just 5 minutes.
I also plan to do the smoke corner lights for the c300.
I look forward to being part of the family for a long road ahead and meeting many wonderful people from these forums. I have noticed these forums to be very friendly and one of the most professional auto forums online.
