Help with some repairs please?

I just started researching some things regarding my 1997 C230 w202 Benz kompressor, and i must say its a beautiful car.Help with some repairs please?-full-shot-edited-.jpg Help with some repairs please?-back-edited.jpg
However there are a few things I need to repair like the seats leather Help with some repairs please?-mms_picture_3.jpg...this is a more detailed picture of whats going on in that part of the seat. Help with some repairs please?-mms_picture_2.jpg
Also, the trunk opens and closes stronger and has no restraints because this spring broke off. Help with some repairs please?-mms_picture.jpg

Any ideas on where to look for replacement parts or how to fix them myself? please help!

Wow, how many miles does that car have on it? 1,000,000 or what? That seat is toast. I've rarely seen something that bad.

I can't believe the seat is so badly worn, very strange in just that spot. Maybe a Euro salvage yard will have a seat that you could switch the cover out for, or try finding someone parting a similar W202 in the for sale section here. In the meantime you could always use a seat cover for the front seats to hide the issue until you get a proper replacement.

The trunk spring most likely came off when the mounting point it connects to broke. This is not uncommon for W202's and I believe there are a couple of posts with repair suggestions on this site. Have you considered poking around and searching the W202 forum? There is also a W202 AMG forum so be sure not to confuse the two.

Good luck.

yeah the seat cover thing was what i had in mind. thats probably what i'll end up doing.

in terms of the trunk, yeah i think the mounting point broke..there was a silver piece with a hole in it that broke off, so i'll check out the forums you suggested. thanks so much
