Tire Leak Question

I discovered that the rubber where it meets the valve stem on my drivers front tire cracked and totally flattened my tire. I'm just assuming that I'll need to get the valve stem replaced...correct? I really hope I don't have to purchase a new tire.

Usual procedure is to install new valve stems with every tire replacement.

If yours has simply died of old age, may want to think about the other three.

It could of course be damage or even vandalism.

New tire only required if you drove on the flat.
