Id just like to introduce myself a little!
Im Mark ( Might be obvious from the username! )
I've been around MB vans since 2002 when I was given a 208d ( Old T1 shape) by my employers at the time, It was a 1995 and had 324k on it, but was actually mint! the previous driver ( My mentor on my apprenticship in Plant and HGV repair) was a Clean freak, and I couldnt even sit on the seat unless it had 2 seat covers and a plastic cover/bag on it! anyway. while I learnt to drive it, which was a challenge in itself with a dog leg 1st gear and no power steering ( shock!) I did alot to it including rebuilding the engine ( old 601 diesel non turbo beaut!) and transmission. After having the old girl for a few years and trying to keep it as clean as I could I was awarded a MB Sprinter 316CDi! Anyone who has driven both vehicles will appreciate the power difference! it was like driving a rocket powered van ( Compared! )! I Left that employer to work for myself, and had to leave the 316CDi behind
!! Started business on my own in a Little MB Vito 108CDi! Back to slow motoring!
This all leads me to where I am now in life, Im a Mobile Mechanic in the Stafford area, Mainly specialising in MB and BMW, While starting my parts business www .Vitospares.com!
So as the name suggests I do Vito Parts and Spares! Used and new!
Anyway, Im gonna be hanging around the V class section offering help and advice to anyone owning a 638/639 Vito/Viano/V class!
Anyway enough of me babbling on about 601 engine this, 611 injector that.. If anyone wants any advice drop me a PM!
