Any mb enthusiasts in Las Vegas?

I'm planning a trip to Vegas June 12-17. Hope to spend a little less time in the casinos and more time in the local pick-a-part mb yards hunting for w126 parts/pieces etc. in particular. Also, looking for a well cared for W126 SEC.

Can anyone provide a list of good pick a part yards?

Thanks in advance.

Most of the yards are north of the city on Lamb Blvd. just north of Craig Rd. can't say what they have in the way of parts since i have not had to hunt yet but I can find you an address if you need it. Easiest way to get there is take I-15 north and get off at Lamb, and go south, the yards (2-3 I think) are on the east side of the road.

I am afraid in LV you will run into the same dilemma I did on junkyards in California.
Most of the parts we need are deteriorating plastic and rubber. Those don't last long under the sun 340 days a year
I was frequent to junk yards when driving Volvo or Volkswagen, since lot of the parts were interchangeable between Audi, VW, Volvo and even BMW.
Now the MB parts are so valuable that most expensive parts are taken away by dismantlers, where not too many have use for old fenders.
With the era of Internet I can buy new parts for the prices dismantlers are asking.
Bottom line -you might get better value seeing Valley of Fire, or taking a hike at Red Rock canyon, not to mention day trip to Death Valley, than spending "quality time" at junk yard.
Enjoy whatever you go for.
