I'm a bit confused too. Where is here? I can find the manual here (at my desk) but you must mean a different "here".

Do you mean you have found a US manual that does not cover this engine model?

Would you dare to post the VIN?

By the way, did I read right, you've joined the forum at 2002 and had your first message posted now? In that case I don't welcome you to the forum because you have been here a lot longer than myself. Perhaps just congrats for the first message.

DB - the guy lives in Queensland, Australia. There may be a problem with downloading from a US website. I would not be able to get it here in the UK.

Regardless, the on-line Model 124 Maintenance Manual Index doesn't include the E220 or the M111 engine. Nor does it include the 230 series, as I discovered recently. It seems that this resource is focused on US-distributed models.

Yes I noticed that but the OP did not mention the problem being that he only found US manuals, this is why I specifically asked if this was his issue.

But you have access to Euro models, I'm sure about that. Perhaps limited info about 124.

If the member down under accepts German text, I could likely help.

But let's not scare the OP away, any other proposals that would help him would be welcome.

damn thanx guys, i didnt expect such a quick reply ...

first i would like to appologise, for not being on forums in a while...having said that, the car is dads, he drives it but cause he is goin overseas soon, and i wrote my car off, ill take the e220 over..however he neglected it...and i wanna get it all sorted while he is overseas...

i do remember now, the engine is m111...i forgot that...i always assumed that those engines would have been standard sort-of speak at usa europe and aus...dont know y, i know silly me for thinking that..

as for german manual...wish i could speak german but...it would be useless for me...

ne idea as to where i would be able to buy it...if i cant download it or something...providing it IS the right service manual for my car...

I got my copy of the service manual CDs on eBay for a very reasonable cost. They are complete, but the original interface requires an obsolete version of Internet Explorer. Steve Nervig did the interface/index used on the on-line version linked above and it loads onto local drives as well. He might now where to find what you need and can be reached at "sportline.300CE at mac dot com"

I've Googled around looking for stuff on the M111, but without significant success. If I find something, I'll keep you in mind. Good luck.

aw thanx mate much appriciated...

just googled it myself, and i came across something that kinda has me puzzled...

is if possible that m111 engines are in w210's as well as in w124's...cause apperently that 2.2l 4 cyl engine is in 93-00 c class as well...

just to clarify...this it the car in question...

Redbook

wat i did notice is that in vin number its C on my car, nor B...

im thinking if the engine is the same 2.2l 4 cyl that is in c220 and w210's....couldnt i get that manual...sorry guys...just typing and thinking as im typing...
