Restoring the wheel.

Hi guys i'm about to start restoration on my 1982 240D with 100,000 miles on the clock.

I have been thinking about changing the color of the car and now i need some ideas from you regarding what color to use.

Changing the color with good quality job will likely exceed the value of the car.
What is wrong with the present one? It should be classic no matter what.
No chance you will make a hotrod out of this one

Agreed. Drive it as is or part it out. A paint job will cost 4-5 times what the car is worth and add little to no value to the car. It is a complete waste of money.
