Thanks!

I have a question.

As I am collecting information and doing my research, I am wondering something.

W202 vs W124, now I'm talking C280(W202) vs E320(W124). I know that they both have the M104 engine so the problems would probably be the same right? I have read around the net and found some transmission issues but then again it seems 50/50 on that so I'm not sure what to think.

I went to a dealer yesterday and saw both a 95 E320 and a 95 C-220 (i'd assume the 280 is similar)

I noticed that the odometer in the C-class was digital, and the odometer in the E-class was not. What are the differences of the C to the E? Is the C-class more luxury/higher up than the E or what? why does the C have a digital odometer and interior buttons and the E no? The C-class also had a telescoping steering wheel, and if I am correct, the E-class did not. I've been looking online and I've come accross many other C-classes that also have the 6-disc cd changer in the trunk, If i am correct, the only E-class that had that standard was the "Sportline" package.

If anyone can give me any insight into this it would help me in making my decision as I am now pursuing both a 1997 C280 and a 1995 E320. I know that having a digital odometer is safer in terms of fraud (the drill trick) and I even read on here that to reprogram the odometer you have to go to the dealer, so that assures anti-fraud.

Thanks!
