OVER HEATING ON MY 300-C 1990
Ok, here goes, i started hearing gurggling noises under the dash, my heater wouldnt work anymore, and at that time i had over heating problems, so, i thought it was a heater core issue, i thought the heater core wasnt letting the water circulate though out the system, so, i by passed the heater core altogether, but, it isnt really running any cooler.
I cant go but a few miles and the main filler tank starts boiling, goes in to the overflow tank, out the over flow tank, all over the ground, it looses a couple gallons of water in just a few miles.
I really doubt its a head gasket, or cracked cylinder head, i havent seen a sign of any white steam coming out of the exhaust, plus, i dont see how a cracked cylinder head, or blown head gasket can gobble up that much water in so little time.
Heres my thought, the water still isnt circulating, it might be my water pump, could my clutch fan be bad, (i do see it go on, but, not all the time).
Before i get in to the pump, soes anyone have any other ideas?
I appreciate all the suggestions..............
